USES :- RIFAXIMIN (RIFAWAR) belongs to a group of antibiotics. RIFAXIMIN (RIFAWAR) treats traveler`s diarrhea and irritable bowel syndrome (means is a common disorder that effects the large intestine. Signs and symptoms include cramping , abdominal pain, bloating gas ,and diarrhea or constipation,or both by stooping the growth of the bacteriathat cause diarrhea.  RIFAXIMIN (RIFAWAR)  used to prevent hepatic encephalopathy( a disease in which the functioning of the brain is effected by some agent or condition such as viral infections or toxins in the blood , which your liver does not work normally.

RIFAXIMIN (RIFAWAR) 200 mg :- Rifaximin (Rifawar)200 mg  treats only bacterial infections. Rifaximin (Rifawar) not work for viral infections (such as common cold flu). Using any antibiotic when it is needed can cause it io not needed can cause it to not work for future infections . Rifaximin (Rifawar) is also used to treat irritable bowel syndrome with diarrhea.

MECHANISM OF ACTION

Rifaximin (Rifawar)  acts by inhibiting RNA synthesis in susceptable bacteria by binding to the beta-submit of bacterial deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) dependent ribonucleic acid (RNA) polymerase enzymes .This result in the blockage of the translocation stop that normally follows the formation of the first phosphodiester bond, which occurs in the transcriptions process. This is in turn results in a reductase of bacteria populations, including gas producing bacteria , which may reduce mucosal inflammation ,epithelial dysfunction and visceral hypersensitivity .Rifaximin (Rifawar) include inhibtion of bacterial translocation across the epithelial linning of the intestine,inhibition of adhere of bacteria to the epithelial cells and a reduction in he expression of proinflammatory cytokines.
