Description
MEDICATION USED FOR
ARKFLO-0.4 MG is an alpha-blocker that relaxes the muscles in the prostate and bladder neck, making it easier to urinate. ARKFLO-0.4 is used to improve urination in men with benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate). ARKFLO-0.4 is not FDA approved for use in women or children.
INDICATIONS
For the treatment of the signs and symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia
For medical expulsive treatment (MET) as an adjunct to conservative management of distal uretal nephrolithiasis
MECHANISM OF ACTION
ARKFLO-0.4 is used by men to treat the symptoms of an enlarged prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia-BPH). ARKFLO-0.4does not shrink the prostate, but it works by relaxing the muscles in the prostate and the bladder. ARKFLO-0.4 belongs to a class of drugs known as alpha blockers.
