Description
PUREGERMINA is an oral probiotic suspension used to treat diarrhoea, intestinal & respiratory tract disorders, and bacterial imbalance due to antibiotics.
It contains 2 billion spores of Bacillus Clausii (friendly bacteria that maintains a symbiotic relationship with host body) which helps in restoring intestinal flora.
It is a rod-shaped, Gram-positive & spore-forming bacterium that lives in soil.
MECHANISM of ACTION
PUREGERMINA balances the bacterial flora in the intestine.
Antibiotics usually kill bacteria including the friendly ones in the stomach that are essential for digestion & food absorption.
It has probiotic bacterium that restores the balance of friendly bacteria in intestines, increase absorption of nutrients by the body and increase body’s ability to resist microbial attacks.
These friendly bacteria are called Bacillus Clausii.
