Gabapentin and Notriptyline Tablet Overview | Arlak : Neu-Gbt

Gabapentin and Nortriptyline Tablet is a combination medication used for the management of neuropathic pain. It is a chronic progressive nerve disease that causes nerve pain. Symptoms of neuropathic pain include spontaneous, untriggered pain, shooting, burning, or stabbing pain, difficulty resting or sleeping, and evoked pain (pain caused by events that are usually not painful).

Gabapentin is an Alpha 2 delta ligand that decreases pain by modulating the calcium channel activity of the nerve cells. Nortriptyline is a tricyclic antidepressant that increases the levels of chemical messengers (serotonin and noradrenaline) that stop the movement of pain signals in the brain. Together, they relieve neuropathic pain from damaged nerves.
