APENTRAL -DSR Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor that decreases the amount of acid produced in the stomach. Pantoprazole is used to treat erosive esophagitis (damage to the esophagus from stomach acid caused by gastroesophageal reflux disease, or GERD) in adults and children APENTRAL-DSR is used to treat certain conditions in which there is too much acid in the stomach. MECHANISM OF ACTION
APENTRAL-DSR is used to treat certain stomach and esophagus problems (such as acid reflux). It works by decreasing the amount of acid your stomach makes. APENTRAL-DSR medication relieves symptoms such as heartburn, difficulty swallowing, and persistent cough APENTRAL-DSRfacilitates gastric emptying and decreases small bowel transit time by increasing esophageal and gastric peristalsis and by lowering esophageal sphincter pressure.
