APENTRAL-LS is used in the treatment of constipation .APENTRAL-LS is an antipsychotic and pro-kinetic drug. It is used to treat symptoms of schizophrenia, anxiety disorders, and dysthymia. It has also been used for dyspepsia, GERD, and irritable bowel syndrome APENTRAL-LS is used to treat certain stomach and esophagus problems (such as acid reflux). … It helps heal acid damage to the stomach and esophagus, helps prevent ulcers, and may help prevent cancer of the esophagus. APENTRAL-LS belongs to a class of drugs known as proton pump inhibitors (PPIs).

APENTRAL -LS indicates :
For the treatment of pathological hypersecretion associated with Zollinger-Ellison syndrome or other hypersecretory syndromes.
For the healing of duodenal ulcer.
For the healing of gastric ulcer
MECHANISM OF ACTION
APENTRAL-LS Levosulpiride and Pantoprazole. Levosulpiride is a prokinetic which works by increasing the release of acetylcholine (a chemical messenger). This increases the movement of stomach and intestines, and prevents reflux (acid going up to the food pipe). Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps in the relief of acid-related indigestion and ulcers.
